Intex Excursion Pro Kayak, Professional Series Inflatable Fishing Kayak

    • Material feels strong and thick, so punctures should happen with mild care
    • Last thing I know buyers want to know, how strong is the material it’s made of its thick and feels like soft pvc very nice.
    • They are made out of a much cheaper material than the rest of the kayak, so I guess that was to be expected
    • Material seems very durable
    • I found this to be well made, with good materials.
    • Skeg is made of sturdy material.

    • , too bad they couldn't use the same material for the floor.5
    • Not made of tough material.
    • It has thicker and more durable materials, better valves, a valve gauge and WAY more leg room
    • The material of the Intex hull doesn’t strike me as being especially thick or resilient either.
    • The material that this kayak is made of is good but I wouldn't trust it too far from shore, or on a camping trip where I would be depending on it to get me home
    • The material is very easy to dry, and the raft folds up very quickly for transport, which, when we got home, we lightly re-inflated it and put it under cover to dry
    • I've hit sharp rock edges numerous times and the outside material didn't even have superficial scratches
    • I was very scared it'd get a hole in it, the material is very strong and durable
    • Pros:-Tough material just like mariner 4, explorer does not compare do not buy those get this instead.-it comes with a “booster”
    • The material feels very tough.
    • Much longer, great leg room, heavier material, definitely worth the extra money.
    • I was most worried that the material of this kayak wouldn't be quality and it far surpassed my expectations
    • It has a tougher material than the others and the seats are substantially more comfortable than the base Sea Eagle.
    • The material seems cheap and it got a puncture after the second use.
    • At first, I thought they were a big improvement - easier to inflate, seemingly stronger material.
    • Like I said, it has a lot going for it, but with the valve issue and the weak material I would suggest people look elsewhere.
    • The material that this kayak is made of is good but I wouldn't trust it too far from shore, or on a camping trip where I would be depending on it to get me home
    • Very sturdy material elicits lots of confidence
    • The kayak is made of sturdy material; nose cones are hardened material, handles and cords are very sturdy.
    • This was a great buy, I spent the extra money on this instead of getting the Intex Explorer because of the thicker, sturdier material
    • Stronger material than I thought it would be
    • The carry bag is made of cheap material and the carry bag zipper is not a strong one; maybe the size and strength of a windbreaker jacket.
    • The materials are durable enough to withstand their weight
    • The material felt very durable

    • The excursion is a thicker more durable material than the K2 and a little longer and narrower, very comfortable with plenty of leg room
    • Much bigger, strong material, more legroom, easier to inflate, and break down.
    • I would love to see Intex (or any inflatable kayak company) do a demo video of just how tough there kayak material is.....by stabbing and poking it with rocks / branches, for example
    • You can tell the material is not as thick as more expensive IKs, but for the price I can't complain.
    • (no need to act like the Strong Man at the Circus), as it is just plastic & will heat up which will cause issues if you go too fast-nice that it has some ropes on the outside-durable material, easy grab handles-it is not a Big Plastic Standard Kayak & therefore does not behave as such.
    • Very durable 3-ply material, easy to set up and take down

    • I've only used it three times, but the materials seem sturdy and I'm not too worried about punctures and leaks if I'm reasonably careful
    • The seats are not good, and would be more marketable if they would add better options and materials to trade out the seats if they don’t already have those options
    • It's just as close to perfect as I can imagine
    • The booster cushion (my girl used it) was very comfy, but she had small issues with her seat backrest not being as supportive as without the added cushion
    • Turned around and paddled as fast as I could to get back to the dock.
    • I inflate the bottom cushion, but I would recommend not pushing the valve into the pad as it's hard to pull back out.
    • There is a solid area behind the rear seat, as well as in the front, and y pi u can easily fit a dry bag in both areas
    • n’t feel like you will sink or flip over
    • Because of how many pieces it breaks down into, the paddle feels a little more flimsy than my Emotion 12t kayak paddles which breakdown into two pieces, but it got the job done during my 3 mile paddle
    • n’t lose air
