Intex River Run I Sport Lounge, Inflatable Water Float, 53" Diameter

    • I used them for river floating at a local river and it lasted even in rough waters
    • Great to just float around on or have a good water battle.
    • Last year we ended up having to buy new ones because of the mesh seats coming off from scraping the bottom of the river (2 years in our rough waters is good for non-commercial tubes)
    • My wife said the tube was a little big for her because she couldn't reach the water as good, but she still likes the tube
    • There are some rocky, white water sections of the creek we have to go over and the tubes have held up very well
    • Our trip using these went well despite cold water temperatures.
    • Frozen from the cold water, but safe within our tubes.
    • The durable mesh-like center of the tube provides great support so the kids can simply sit down in the middle of the tube and enjoy the water.
    • It is great for both flat water and works suprisingly well even in big waves.
    • This turned into a good water play toy for our grandkids at the lake.
    • At 5'10" and 270 lbs this tube was comfortable for my hubby to take a lazy 3 hour float through some shallow, rocky water.
    • (Of course, I got out when the water was really shallow, but several times we just had to be pulled to the center of the river.)
    • Friends say they put a life vest in the center for really protecting you in shallow water with rocks, but I didn't do that, and it wasn't necessary.
    • Handles are really helpful for staying on the tube through rapid water, and the rope around the outside was great for tethering two tubes together
    • the mesh bottom is really nice to give you the option to elevate off the water in case the water is a little chilly that day.
    • We took them out a number of times during the summer but only on calm water (so no rapids) and again, there were no leaks of any kind.
    • Sun setting over the mountains, cool (but warm) water on my hands and feet
    • so if you go over rougher waters they will come undone.
    • Very sturdy tube that's great for rough waters
    • Durable enough to handle shallow rocky waters
    • It has held up really well, and has certainly taken some hits and been dragged across rocks in shallow water.
    • cup holders are very useful down lazy river and in rough water too, net below was great and durable
    • It is great for just relaxing in and enjoying the sun and the water.
    • Probably wouldn't survive too many trips down fast and rough water, but get a cover if you need it to do that.
    • Bought this on a trip down to Mexico where waters are calm
    • the mesh bottom is really nice to give you the option to elevate off the water in case the water is a little chilly that day.
    • shallow water- over rocks etc
    • I take this tube down a river that has very different areas; rocky rapids, calm waters, and shallow rocky bottoms where the tube bottoms out occasionally
    • Simply put, it is the ideal way to enjoy the water.
    • Google water knot, super easy and exactly what you want to use for this.
    • Our river isn't white water rafting by any means, but these tubes are tough enough to skim over rocks in shallow waters and more comfortable than any we've tried
    • I've used this multiple times on the river, even over shallow waters going over rocks and it hold up like champ.
    • It's great in the sense that it drains the water from your seat area, but if you're using this in any "real" river, there will be rocks that you pass over, and you will bruise your bottom
    • I like it because it has a mesh bottom, so on a hot day you are still getting some cool water on you.
    • Great for white water river rapids
    • I am 5'7" and when I lay in it, my hands can barely touch the water.
    • Otherwise, there's enough water
    • If the water is very cold, you might want to put a boat cushion in the bottom of the tube so your butt is not sitting in the very cold water.
    • Nice floats, tested on Slippery Rock creek, Had a blast,I would not use in shallow water, not as heavy as rubber inner tubes.
    • This year the river was pretty cold therefore we were a bit chilly at times from being in the cold water
    • They are comfortable, and great in easy water and stronger water with rapids.
    • When we get to the shallow areas we did 'Starfish' which you look like starfish on the floatie with lifting your buttie from the seat and kinda lay down on the boat without sitting that will help you to get through the shallow areas without getting stuck!- put sun screen on and wear hats- get enough water with
    • The back rests/head rests are great when floating in a relaxed river or swifter water.
    • It's easy to lift up your butt if the water gets shallow and let the tube bounce off a rock.
    • It's wide enough that I didn't flip over in some serious rough waters while my friends did even on their truck tire tubes
    • When you reach in the water to cool off your right arm or put water on the tube to cool it, your arm hits the valve and it pinches.
    • We were not even in a river with rough waters.
    • Not good for rough water
    • The replacement had no leaks but the mesh bottom is only glued on and came halfway off after the first use in very calm water.
    • BUT- if you are on the river, you should have a life vest with you-we see people who know how to swim (at the YMCA or lake) come to the river EVERY YEAR and tragically disappear, even on seemingly still, calm water
    • These are great water toys for audit's and older children
    • Durable tube for tubing semi rough waters
    • The cold water will cool the air, and the pressure in the tube will go down
    • The mesh bottom lets in just enough water to keep you cool while keeping sand and river 'gunk' out
    • We did not go through rough water or hit any objects.
    • In shallow fast water it prevents "butt drag"
    • Headrest was a good safety measure, helped keep our heads from hitting rocks on rough water
    • In shallow fast water it prevents "butt drag"
    • A nice inexpensive inflatable water tube.
    • The cold water will cool the air, and the pressure in the tube will go down
    • But I suppose water could get trapped and be hard to remove while floating.
    • Hit some pretty rough water at parts and did not pop the tubes.
    • The water was cold and fast and we had a blast
    • Held up to a few river floats where the water can get shallow at times.
    • Durable material, held up on our 6 hour trip down the Delaware River over rocky waters
    • and they all are still working great as of the end of last summer!
    • We use these to float down a local creek/river several times per year, as well as to float on at a nearby lake
    • Worked exactly as I had hoped, surprisingly comfortable, the cupholders sort of tilt inwards when occupied so don't set a full drink in them or it will spill, the only downside is that the dark coloring will burn your arms when you rest them on the plastic sides if you're floating on a really hot sunny day.
    • I prefer the double as I feel I get more for my
    • My friend almost drowned on a unicorn tube cuz those r unstable and do t have the mesh
