ION Audio Max LP – Three Speed Vinyl Conversion Turntable with Stereo Speakers, USB Output to Convert Vinyl Records to Digital Files and Standard RCA & Headphone Outputs – Piano Black Finish

    • The arm and drive are super cheap plastic and didn't really seem to consistently drive the record at a constant speed
    • The tone arm is flimsy and skips on many flawless records, and the whole product is made of cheap plastic material
    • Nice wood, but very inexpensive plastic mechanicals
    • I was told by a shop owner that skipping isn't an issue unless the player has a really cheap plastic needle
    • The area where you switch speeds is cheap plastic and loose
    • The arm and drive are super cheap plastic and didn't really seem to consistently drive the record at a constant speed
    • The assembly where the tone arm lever, and tone arm sit is very cheap plastic and feels as though I could lift it apart with the slightest pressure.
    • Of course some people had issues with the speakers not working, or the turntable not turning on, but people complaining about the design, the "quality" of the sound, or the "cheap" plastic materials, are definitely out of their minds!I really don't believe you will find a good quality turntable for less than $250 these days (and trust me, I am lowring my standards here, because in my opinion a good turntable in terms of design, quality and reliability, would cost you $
    • Its cheap plastic, but not surprising at this price-point
    • The entire thing feels very cheaply made with the arm for the record player flimsy and cheap plastic.
    • I am happy it is now working as it should, but it didn't come without a ton of frustration
