First, it is nice looking, with a vintage appearance because of the light wood base.
It is very good for the price and also attractive looking.
If you're not expecting audio hi-fi (and not willing to pay for it), but like vinyl and a great looking design that is literally plug and play, this is the record player for you
This is a very nice looking and sounding turntable for the price.
Much nicer in person, wood is very nice and expensive looking

The dust cover is a must, and the available aux input is a nice added feature.
Another nice feature is the ability to play the LP records with the lid closed.
It looks great, has some really nice features, and the price is just about right

It seems to be very nicely made and loaded with features (ability to rip vinyls into a digital format onto your computer, headphone jack, dust cover, the ability to use external speakers, and probably more that I am forgetting )

Also, one thing that surprised me was how good the built in speakers sound.
And with a pair of decent speakers I can make this thing sound like that one
The external speaker I use is from JBL I think, but even my girlfriend's cheap iHome speaker (a dinky portable thing) sounds better than the built in sound
Although my favorite thing to do is listen to the music as-is on the records, the highlight of this machine is the MP3 conversion
If you're prone to breaking things, as I am, keep this in mind

The Color of the player was darker than pictured, but, still looks nice.
I didn't like the color of the wood, but it sounded great
The wood color was a little off from what I expected (it was a more dull wood color, and I assumed it would be a bit brighter), but after getting over that, I really do love this record player
I wish there was a darker color as an option I would have definitely bought that

As soon as the platter begins to move, there is a ground hum in the signal.
It was obviously made cheaper, the needle skipped and the sound quality was worse (even had a horrible hum - probably a wire short somewhere)
There was a loud hum and no way to ground the turntable to the receiver like the vintage turntables
there is only one input for turntable option it is called Phono, I have connected to that input on Home theatre system making scratchy hum sound quality is very bad.
