The player is reliable, has decent sound, easy to operate and is a nice compact size
the size is just perfect too not too big not too small.
The compact size makes it easy to fit in smaller spaces and the speakers put out a great sound for their size.
I like the compact size and the sound from the radio was decent
good sound, great price, good quality and perfect size for my sons room to play his large vinyl collection - thx

The sound was not quite as good as I expected however, it's everything I expected otherwise and made a great gift for my daughter.
You'll love this turntable, or give a great gift to the music nerd in your family.
I was given this player as a gift 6 months ago, and it worked great at first
Would make a great gift for anyone interested in records
I purchased this for my daughter as a gift & was somewhat disappointed that the item arrived with the plastic cover being cracked.

overall though its a awesome player with great sound quality, for a great price.
This turntable fit the bill perfectly, and at a great price.
yeah, it's built a little on the cheap side, but then again you paid a pretty cheap price.
Sure its not the best but for the cheap price and lightening fast delivery its worth it
This turntable works great and not to mention the really reasonable price

I was so excited to get my first record player and play all my favorite albums, so I ordered this decent looking, well priced turntable
If you're looking for a player, save wasting your money on this model and buy a more expensive turn table.
However it's great if you're looking for an affordable turntable for your vinyls
Sure it was a Christmas present, but I'm a little nosey and have looked at record players for
the turntable is great and radio plays good also, sharp looking record player ..would recommend

You simply will NOT believe it!Drawbacks:Radio is merely adequate, but that's a secondary concern for this reviewer

Maybe I just got a faulty product, but it swayed me from wanting this bargain player
The sound quality is good and you can't get a better product for the price.
The product was scratched on the top, the lid did not close properly and most importantly, the needle arm did not function properly.
All in all this is an excellent product and it is a steal for the price.
This product is great for the price that you pay for it

If your looking for a cheap record player then buy this
It's terrible, but luckily it's not your only option for a cheap record player
I would recommend this to people I know who want a cheap player that works well.
This is a great, cheap way record player for novices like me
It is a great basic record player and the internal speakers sound pretty good

The needle arm did not seem secure or able to be secure, and the speeds were all wrong
I don't know if we just got a faulty one, or if this brand has problems, but the speed was messed up
Positives:Accurate turntable speeds, no rumble, no wow or flutter

The sound is great on the internal speakers and even better with external speakers
The platter had a terrible wobble which really distorted sound
He loves it, but the sound from speakers for the record player is awful
The internal speakers on the wooden base have a great sound
It is AMAZINGLY GOOD SOUND when hooked up to two external speakers.

The only negative, as mentioned by others, is the sound quality
The sound quality out of the built-in speakers is pretty good
still had pretty bad sound quality even with external speakers
The sound quality of this record player was pretty good
Decent record player though the sound quality is not great.

I recommend this to anyone who wants an inexpensive but good turntable.
This is a great inexpensive turntable to use with a good pair of headphones.
I am returning it and exchanging it for a more expensive turntable
Started a record collection about a year ago and needed a cheap turntable to get started with
I know this turntable is cheap, but the quality it is definitely off

I recommend it to anyone who has sad unplayed records lying around to get this record player and play your records
i did not enjoy the actual playing records on this record player because you only have between two options of speeds
We got this for my parents to play their records after the old player burned up
The JENSEN JTA-220 is a nicely compact record player that's ideal for voice as is

The speakers are loud enough and you can even plug in external speakers
But the internal speakers sound very good and there were no problems at
and I didn't think that the speakers gave that great of sound, but headphone sound is good
The internal speakers at anything but the lowest volume are pretty bad.
The little speakers sound good and I can plug in some old speakers I still have and it powers them.

However, would only recommend for adults as we've gone through 2 units due to a preschooler pulling on the arm, which is not durable
Of course, you aren't shopping for the cheapest record player on Amazon if you want something that's top-of-the-line, but I think any consumer expects even an inexpensive product to be functional, at least to work as it is intended right out of the box.
Now, one year later, the player works just as well as when we first used it on day one
You should be clear that the materials and design are not the best out there, but definitely is the best value you can get
I also have to mention the horrible sound!I don`t recommend this purchase

At first did not seem like the needle would work, a wire was pulled from when we undid the tape
there is no arm weight so the needle may even scratch your record while playing
much cheaper than a D-battery powered listening station and just as portable
The needle is bad so have to wait till I buy another and just bought it
These is no way to stop a record except buy turning the power off, which inevitably damages both the needle and the record.3

The only thing is that when I got it out of the box, the arm was loose and I had an awful time trying to get it back on
A steady tracking tone arm that shuts the platter off when you move it manually back to its arm rest

The arm is a bit flimsy as it has popped up at the base but it was easy to push back into place

The belt fell off within a week of getting
The belt has slowed down quite a bit so its effecting sound quality (Slowed audio and bit more jerky speeds).
Bought this turntable in September of last year and last week the belt on it went haywire
I also have to mention the horrible sound!I don`t recommend this purchase

I'm not concerned about it breaking down on me, but some parts seem a little flimsy/ easily breakable (tone arm plastic seems cheap, the hinges for the dust cover are sorta weird and feel like they may break)
However, the needle is SO cheap (plastic, no metal to it), that it skipped literally every record we put on.
It is sometimes hard to keep this open, as it's only attached by two cheap plastic knobs
I loved the design and the speakers sounded decent, but the cheap plastic parts were broken (sealed in the box) and it ruined one of my albums
I also have to mention the horrible sound!I don`t recommend this purchase

Works well, though materials are a bit cheap and flimsy
This hasn't affected playback whatsoever from what I can tell, but it does bother me a bit
The record wobbles quite a bit, but to my untrained ear, it doesn't seem to affect the sound
I also have to mention the horrible sound!I don`t recommend this purchase
Good value and have used it a good bit, no problems!

I can deal with the tinny-no base speakers, but the player puts off a loud clicking noise as it plays that is very annoying.
I received the replacement and it made the same noise plus the arm was broken.
I returned it and got another one, but this one will only turn at a high speed and makes a horrific noise when it turns
I received this turntable the first time and when the turntable began turning it made this loud clicking noise.
(although I don't think that had anything to do with it :) it made a loud pop and now only makes a humming noise when you turn it on.
