so they know that they have a problem but are not able to fix it because they cannot control Chinese parts to a tight tolerance for a cheap entry level price.
professional turntable in very reasonable price .It is a great excitement to hear again the pure voices of the " old " records.
It sounds really good and the price isn't too bad either.
I'm very impressed with this table at such a great price
Great turntable and bought it just before Black Friday at an very good price
Another annoying feature is when you cue up and return the tone arm to the holder, it is not
My other turntable is a Goldring GR2, each turntable has its own strengths, the GR is certainly more musical, while the AT has some nice features)
Anyway, I was disappointed in the finger tapping that makes it to the speaker issue that people mention and the motor does indeed easily slow down when cleaning (I use micro-fiber cloth with 70% isopropyl and it cleans somewhat to minor dusty records very quickly with extremely short drying times without the expense of a record cleaning machine and has worked very well). But the WORST features of this machine is that the built-in preamp (whether you use line RCA or the USB output) has a gating circuit that MUTES the audio when it falls below a certain threshold.
I really liked the features, but not enough to try new speakers.
It lacks some features that those who want to listen to music may want.
The consumer market is being flooded with crappy cheap-o record players made by the likes of Crosley(the original cheap-o) and Ion
Pros: sound quality is great and it's a good looking machine

As far as quality goes, the platter isn't flat - it has a very visible warp (about 1/8"!) to it when spinning - and the top face is very cheap looking with visible injection molding bumps and an uneven crinkly finish
It's a great looking turntable and setup was pretty easy
The turntable is solid and well built, its fairly heavy
If you're an audiophile, the built-in pre-amp might bother you
Was a great turntable, good sound, appeared well built, 12 month warranty
I have had this table for a few years now and have little bad to say about it other than the fact that the motor makes a bit of a weird noise from time to time, the built in preamp is garbage on a HiFi system and that the cartridge is only okay
I see users ripping out the built-in preamp and buying phono-preamps then running that into a receiver/mixer/
Basically, I can ONLY hear it during silence and frankly it kind gives something else to hear than the more annoying surface noise with "something" that doesn't make me want to pull my hair out (I hate surface noise, clicks and pops with a passion and use software to remove the clicks & pops, but I can't do anything about surface noise beyond the cleaning stage).
The motor is inaudible with even quiet passages and surface noise on even the quietest records is louder overall.
For $300, I have nothing to complain about this turntable for it has everything you'd ever want for a professional turntable: it has a height adjustable s-shaped tone arm with swap-able head shell complete with counterweight and anti-skating dial of course
All the rich and full notes and sounds from my records were cleanly picked up by the Audio-Technica AT-LP-120 USB Direct Drive Professional Turntable's needle, creating a crystal clear musical delight that brought me back to my past when I first heard each of these songs and their pops and scratches on my old turntable stereo system -- of course, my LPs never sounded as good, clear, robust, and rich as they do now, spinning on the platter of my new Audio-Technica AT

I have decided to return it because like many before me, I also have warped platter issue
With a nice turntable, like Rega, U Turn at close, or similar price point, you will get a much better sounding unit
Tech support wanted him to "send it in on his cost" to "inspect it" as they stated there is no warped platter issue

I've been told by more than a few audiophiles that I could very well have wiring that's gone wonky
It also boasts a decisively more solid build than does the Crosley
Setting up this TT is a breeze and there are plenty vids on how to adjust the tone arm weight and height on YouTube, as well as the O-ring mods and types of platter mats
Only knock would that the arm does not auto return but since this is a professional unit I could see why a DJ may not want that to happen
Pros - it is quite beautiful and has a couple of neat-O features
The unit does a nice job, however, I have one major complaint on this unit
