JENSEN JTA-220 3-Speed Turntable with AM/FM Receiver & Stereo Speakers

    • The stylus is a piece of plastic and when you play 33's on it, the plastic on the stylus hits the record and scratches it, also makes the record not play at the right speed
    • i did not enjoy the actual playing records on this record player because you only have between two options of speeds
    • It comes with all you need to enjoy your old or new records.
    • This is a great record player
    • The arm falls out of place easily and does not stay attached so it tends to scratch the record when placing the needle to the record.

    • If you are wanting a nice starter record player, look no further!
    • This has been wobbly ever since I purchased it making it useless unless you like terrible sounding records.
    • I literally played 3 albums and now the turntable speeds up, slows down, speeds up, slows down making it impossible to play any records and scratches the hell out of them while its at it
    • This record is great for the nostalgia of using records
    • Decent record player though the sound quality is not great.

    • Great little record player for the price
    • The bass lacked a little playing records but I figure that has more to do with the vynal because when I went back to the FM tuner, it sounded as good as internet radio
    • The fact that it was so easy to return was the only upside in this, and thankfully we got a record player that works correctly.
    • Also this unit does require purchasing a special needle for 78 records else you will quickly ruin the standard needle and the 78 records.. plus the 78 needle is required to properly fit the wider grooves to obtain fuller sound.. which this unit is incapable of anyway
    • I am just getting into buying/listening to vinyl, and this seems like a good starter record player.
    • We got this for my parents to play their records after the old player burned up

    • Was happy to find an affordable record player that didn't need external speakers
    • Verified these performance issues were not caused by the 45 record - played perfect with an old Yorx turntable
    • I've used it for radio as well as records
    • When you put a record in it, the turntable part is uneven, causing the record to be uneven, and sound warped - like it is playing underwater

    • The JENSEN JTA-220 is a nicely compact record player that's ideal for voice as is
    • I have some solo instrumental records that I just can't listen to because the warble is obvious and annoying.
    • I've been bumping my tribe records and I couldn't ask for more
    • Playing 33s, the small plastic piece at the end of the tonearm (not the needle side) would actually scrape the record since the turntable wobbled so much.
    • The records sound great and we have occasionally used the radio too.
    • This is a very bad record player
    • It's terrible, but luckily it's not your only option for a cheap record player
    • Problem is that the records all sounded so terrible on this turntable that I gave up.
    • Would be a really great gift for record lovers and first time record owners like me!
    • the turntable is great and radio plays good also, sharp looking record player ..would recommend

    • Of course it's not the best record player out
    • This was the worst record player I've ever purchased
    • I thought the wobble in the turntable was from a warped record until I tested it without a
    • But after two records, the turntable started spinning too fast and all my records sounded like chipmunks.
    • They can now enjoy the records that have been stored away for years!
    • This is a decent record player for the price
    • Great little record player for the price…..

    • It's a great record player for someone who doesnt have 100 dollars to spend
    • Further, the lack of balancing and overall instability of the tonearm could do damage to fragile records.
    • Im no expert, but it sounds as good as any record
    • It seemed like a decent record player for the price, but the built in speakers do not work.

    • My daughter got me interested in collecting some cheap records from Flea markets and she bought this record player for herself about a year ago and didn't have any complaints
    • It may be the record's fault and not the player.
    • The guy I was buying for is not an avid record collector, i'm not even sure he had ever heard the actual sound of a real record on a turntable until we got this.
    • Really been having fun breaking out my old records and albums and giving them a spin...
    • This is a fantastic record player
    • I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a good little record player that sounds good and wants to revive their old vinyl records.
    • Overall I enjoy the record
    • There is also not a lever that lowers or raises the tone arm, so if you dont have a steady hand, it's possible to scratch the record
    • Occasionally the needle gets a bit of dust stuck to it, but I think I just need to clean my records
    • there is no arm weight so the needle may even scratch your record while playing

    • This is a classic to play those classic records that are still in mint condition on this record player.
    • Works well, plays the classic records that I have better than my new one but it might just be my record
    • It was a decent record player that suited my financial and listening desires, but with six months of use, and the knowledge that I didn't wear out the machine with constant use, I would definitely recommend not to buy this player and spend a little extra on better quality turntable.
    • Definitely get this if you're looking into a compact record player that doesn't take a lot of space.
    • Of course, you aren't shopping for the cheapest record player on Amazon if you want something that's top-of-the-line, but I think any consumer expects even an inexpensive product to be functional, at least to work as it is intended right out of the box.
    • The JENSEN JTA-220 is a nicely compact record player that's ideal for voice as is
    • The sound was what I expected, took me right back to the 70's and 80's, and can enjoy my records again
    • I'll continue to use it for a while and keep my eyes open for a deal on a better record player.
    • Great little record player for the price!
    • I put the "adapter" on the spindle, put a 7 inch single on it, changed the speed setting switch, laid the needle on the groove...and the friction from the needle stopped the record dead in it's track.
    • Also, the lid pops off easily and will damage your records
    • This is a great, cheap way record player for novices like me
    • sound quality and speed levels off records play too slow
    • As previous reviewers have noted: the turntable platter wobbles, causing the records to sound distorted.

    • When I first used the turntable, I thought maybe my record was warped, so I put on a brand new one, and the pitch was still wobbling; so much so, in fact, that I thought the unit was defective
    • I may even keep it if I find any unusual records in the future
    • It has been years, and now thanks to this machine I can enjoy my 78 records
    • Really been having fun breaking out my old records and albums and giving them a spin...
    • 78's sound better on this unit (with the 78 needle) because they are not usually high fidelity and were recorded with primitive equipment compared to more modern 33 rpm stereo records
    • This is a pretty good record player for the price
    • It plays records very well and the radio works nice
    • It plays records very well and the radio works nice
    • Just keeps spinning and spinning and wearing down the needle and possibly harming your record)
