The three speeds are a huge bonus, and the volume and sound quality is much better than I'd hoped

When playing my 33's starts sounding like it's on the wrong speed

Unit seemed to be in perfect shape, however my LPs did not play at the correct speed.

33 1/3 speed doesn't work that great

I don't know if we just got a faulty one, or if this brand has problems, but the speed was messed up

It sounds decent and plays at a good speed.

The turntable speed wasn't consistent and provided fast but audible fluttering

My husband did some research and discovered that basically, this model of turntable was built to play at a slightly higher speed and, over time, will wear down to playing things at the correct speed/sound

It didn't play the right speed, it was always going to fast

It worked for a few days, now it won't play at correct speed

Here's why it's terrible: the motor can't keep up a consistent speed, which makes the pitch wobble... a lot

The 33 speed was fast enough you could hear the electric motor running wild.

The stylus is a piece of plastic and when you play 33's on it, the plastic on the stylus hits the record and scratches it, also makes the record not play at the right speed

This should fix the speed problem and make the platter spin at the right speed again

The needle arm did not seem secure or able to be secure, and the speeds were all wrong

After that, as I switched to side 2 of one of my favorites, the thing had automatically set itself for a faster speed, even though the button had never been touched

the turntable would not keep a consistent speed, it just turned slower and slower.

Once I received the second one, I was happy to see that the turntable functioned properly and seemed to spin at the right speed, albeit a bit wobbly.

Compact, 3 speeds and easy to move around.

the unit sadly fails to play records at the correct speeds, that is the most basic requirement, and it failsradio, inbuilt speakers, general build are all good, but becomes worthless if it cant perform the basic requied functionhave instead ordered the buy the "Jensen JTA-222 3-Speed Turntable" which ive had great experience wit in the past and is in a similar price bracket

And then the speed starting slowing down.

Doesnt even play LPS and 45s at the right speed!!!
