When I read these review I thought it was going to be bad quality speakers, but it was the opposite.

I have purchased at first the 1byon one and unfortunately it wouldn't play my Justin Timberlake : Man of the Woods record as the edge of the record rubs on the edge of the needle mount, and it was cheap quality.

but that's its only redeeming quality as far as I can tell.

This, paired with the poor speaker quality, is what knocked off the fifth star for me

Just got the record player yesterday... sounds good and looks good but the biggest complaint I have (which i'd probably give 2 stars) is the quality of the plastic piece that the record sits on

The other reviewers were right that the speakers are not the best quality (they are good but not "blow your socks off" great), but I found that I can easily plug in my computer speakers to the unit

Horrible sound quality

I was looking at some Crosley units, but from my research they seemed to be poor quality.

It's well made, does what it should, but, the quality of sound is not good, its over 25 years since I listened to vinyl records, but, it was on a really good system with amazing speakers, and apparently my ears remember, as I cannot get past the cheap tinny sound of these speakers

The speakers are fair quality to the price you pay.

And the sound quality is just horrendous.

They are much better than the speakers I have on my laptop and are just as good quality as listening through headphones
