I am an old audiofile from the days of (1980's) records, so firstly this isn't a top of the line DJ setup, but not what I wanted.

Worked fine for a little, now the speakers are shot and a record is scratched because of it.

Now, with that being said, if you just want a fun little record player and you're not picky on sound quality, by all means I would recommend this

it's not as if the record itself is damaged.

However, when I tried using it, the records wobbled so much that you could hear the distorted pitch with each revolution.

so even if your record is a bit warped it will autocorrect and play it very well

I wanted a better record player that didn't break the buck and it definitely was a nice upgrade

The very early records (1909 through 1920s) sound awful, but they might sound that way no matter what they were played on.

I like the look of the suitcase style players, but many of the reviews say they don't play modern 180g records well, so I bought this beauty on PrimeDay and I already love the bejeezus out of it.

I carefully rinse in water, CAREFULLY wipe with a clean microfiber cloth, and then finish with a good record brush

Played maybe 20 records and the needle is already ruined
