As you probably could imagine, this is a flawed design: modern phones are usually big and heavy, and this puny vent grip has no chance at holding a phone up for a long period of time

The phone and holder would fall out of the vent while driving making it difficult to visually follow the map

The 4 star is because I have to use two hands to place or remove from the holder due to a mechanism you have to squeeze to secure the phone in place

I like where it sits in my car, but my phone just barley fits, and it falls all the time

This has been one of the more costly phone mounts I've purchased and am really disappointed in its performance.

I've been using this product with my iPhone XR, after about a week of use the part that hold the phone will start to sag, and if I hit a bump the phone stays in the mount but it will droop

It can wiggle around a bit and shake the phone, but tightening everything down very tight helps enough it is bearable

The idea is good, but the vent fin clasp is not strong enough to support a phone on its own.

Used on rough roads in a 33' Class C Motorhome, and the phone stayed right where I wanted it, and was a breeze to adjust.

It does not hold the phone in a horizontal position, and once installed it cannot be moved to another position as it loses its adhesion
