I'm a loyal Anker buyer, but this cable stopped working after 8 months

After some uses the cable had some drawbacks, the connector was detached at the minimum movement (which did not happen with other cables).I contacted the Anker support area, they advised me and accompanied me to do some tests

Purchased Anker as I have been happy with other products I've purchased from them.

The issue is: once I plug them in my iPhone on an Anker portable charger, the charger's lights immediately go off and it stops working until I take the lightning

So I don't want to blame Anker for this problem.

If you are an iPad user and you need a higher-speed cable for use with a dual-screen setup for a laptop (mine's a MacBook), then this series of Anker cables works great.

Also, Anker's excellent after-sale service deserves to be commended

At the risk of sounding like a fanboy, Anker is great and I highly recommend their products, this one included.

I only buy Anker because they don’t blow up your phone and the customer support is as top of the line as it gets!

Product stopped working during warranty period but Anker could not have been more responsive and immediately provided a replacement which is working just fine

This is my first Anker product that has disappointed me.

I Definitely recommend Anker, they showed that they can do things right if something goes wrong with their products.

Even my Apple Lightning cables haven't held up as well as these Anker ones.

A customer service representative, Jade, responded promptly and courteously and sent out a replacement cable with free shipping (even threw in another one for free!).Regarding durability - I keep the cable connected to an (Anker!) portable charger and my iPhone in my pant pocket

A couple of years ago my tech friend told me Anker is the best when it comes to cables and chargers, etc

Anker will stand behind these cables but should NOT fail so predictably in the first place.

They have all had great build quality, and when we recently had an issue with one of our cable's USB connection (which was still under it's 18 month warranty), Anker immediately sent out a replacement - no hassle and no cost.

Anker customer service contacted me regarding my non-functioning cable and sent me a replacement.

I also have an anker battery backup that works fairly well and the supplied cable works well as it is supposed to (I use it to charge my mophie as their cable is unreliable)

I take back what I said before,when I got this cable I try to charge it with my phone on different charger different outlet and none of them work,so I thought this is a faulty product,but later I remember the ipod I have and charge it with the cable,it work perfectly fine,turn out somehow my phone can only charge with the old cable,thanks anker for contacting me and try to help,although they are not very good at understanding metaphors.

Kind of curious to why Apple has not tried using Anker to work on their products.

This cable works as well as, perhaps better, than Apple cables; the connection at the connector head is better sealed, so doesn't break.

It works in my car as well as at home
