Works great on smooth surfaces

It does a little, but when you have area rugs on hard surfaces, you get a lot of pet hair collected on the edges of the carpet
-
It is noisy on hard surfaces like tile or wood
-
It is, however, beyond me why it refuses to clean dark surfaces
-
It has no problem going back and forth between hard surfaces and the rug which is almost 2 inches in height

It gets stuck on the same set of stairs every day (stops itself just before going over), or on uneven surfaces, or between large items
