Now when I get home from work, I come to a clean house,

And out house looks kind of crazy with foot stools on their sides and and other stuff trying to block areas
It never cleans the whole house and I gave it the benefit of the doubt the first few times I used it because it got filled up with dirt from under beds and furniture which I could not do, but now that seems to be under control, but it keeps going over the same areas that it already has done and the needs to be recharged after 2 hrs
I hope she continues to clean my house with no effort from me

I was a robot vacuum skeptic prior to this purchase- now converted believer in robot vacuums as an easy way to keep floors clean.
Because of his size, he doesn’t make as much noise as my other vacuum but does vacuum longer, so I recommend putting your Roomba out to clean while you shower or scheduling the cleaning for another time when you will be in a different room etc

You would think t would be smart enough to know where it’s home base is
I usually come home to find it with a dead battery in the middle of the floor because it never found home base
I left it going one morning and came home for lunch to find it dead (battery dead) in one room as though it never made it out of this room to get back to base

It is best to use the included invisible wall to confine the Roomba to one space; it's definitely more efficient that
If you notice it's not cleaning as good as when you first got it, you probably need to empty the dust bin, I had to learn the hard way.
Now iRobot needs to invent one that can go up and down the steps, cleaning as it goes.
I stopped the job as I was satisfied with the result and moved Roomba to the kitchen to work on the rest of first floor (I blocked off small sitting room with invisible wall)
She starts and moves effortlessly, bumping her way along from room to room and cleaning as she goes.

a cat toy?3- it goes inside a bedroom and as it cleans it pushes the door closed so it gets stuck inside the room.4-it cleans in a disorganized ways so it went to the same little corner 4 times but completely missed the rug in the living room.5- After going around and around for 1 hour the battery was dying
I don't expect it to act like a human, so occasionally lingering on one spot for a protracted amount of time or getting stuck under the couch now and then doesn't frustrate me.
It does get stuck occasionally, but not as easily as I feared
From then on it would take off and get stuck in the corner unable to free itself
To top it off, it gets stuck in locations and on objects way too easily

I wish this vacuum would work on my dark rugs and carpet
I have to clean the brushes 2 times per week and empty the bin daily, but that is a small price to pay for the amount of dog hair it cleans off our hardwood floors and area rugs
Someone mentioned that theirs did not like carpet or dark rugs.
I recently moved into a new place and I never let it run until completion to clean the rugs at my new place

Roomba support told me that there is no setting in software to turn off the cliff detector so no way the 690 will allow itself to vacuum any dark colored rugs

Loud on my apartment's cheap-o wooden floors (bothers the person under me), but that's their problem, not mine!
But if you have dark colored carpets be ready to constantly get up to move the roomba once it gets stuck due to the fact that it thinks its about to hit a cliff.
