iRobot Roomba 890 Robot Vacuum Cleaner with Wi-Fi Connectivity, Works with Alexa, Ideal for Pet Hair, Carpets, & Hard Floor Surfaces

    • We have so much dirt and hair that I need to clean the dust-bin in the middle of the cycle at times, but it is very simple to do
    • This one has some big improvements, particularly the lithium battery (must lighter and longer-lasting), snag-free rollers, and the "bin full" and "extractors clogged" notifications
    • As long as I run it several times a week I don’t have to clean out the bin as often, but it’s always several times per cleaning cycle.
    • Claims to need bin cleaning very often, even when nothing is noticeable.
    • There is also a care section that tells and shows you how to clean the bin, core robot and debris extractors
    • I do find that I have to clean out the bin a lot, which means I can’t run this if I’m not home because every 5-10 minutes the bin will say it’s full
    • The first one (now upstairs) was very easy to handle, pair with my phone, and the bin was easy to pull out to empty, which I have to do a lot since I have two dogs
    • Wish the battery life was longer and the bin fills up too quickly but it works for a quick sweep
    • I carried it upstairs and shut the door on it in a bedroom and again the bin did get filled up before it was done cleaning
    • The bin got an error after a two months of use that required a new bin to be sent to me
    • I don't use the scheduling functions of the Roomba at all, as I like to be here to empty the bin or clean out the extractors if needed
    • I clean the dust bin after every job, or sometimes in the middle of the cleaning job depending on how full i think it might be, the machine will also let you know when it's full.
