I like that I can control the robot from my app

While the robot slows down considerably before bumping into anything using its sensors, sometimes it can be a hit and a miss where the robot bumps into furniture at full speed (especially if it bumps into anything at the 9 & 3 'o clock positions)

The Roomba is a very powerful robot

but the robot is very retarded at times in trying to find its base back home and very inconsistent

But overall, the iRobot Roomba 890 is a solid robot vacuum for its price.

Aside from the black floor problem, it is a great robot vacuum, that will work for most houses

I love this little robot

The robot will wonder around for a few minutes after it notifies you on the phone that the job is done, looking for the base and finally it will go there and put itself to charge

Others have found the robot's randomness unsatisfactory, and it does at first surprise you, but once you get used to it, you realize it works just fine

Second, just make sure there's no cables or any kind of strings (like some pet toys, etc) or sheets of paper on the floor because the robot will get tangled and might cause some damage in the machine

Once I bought from the IRobot manufacturer I had a perfect robot that does an excellent job

If you want a robot vaccum that will clean an entire floor you need to buy one like 960 which is $600.

I though the app was a gimmick at first but the first time you get a notification that the robot is having trouble(like it got stuck) it makes your life so much easier

I loved the robot so much until I realized that it leaves area under the dinner table dirty and the iRobot folks do not consider it a problem.
