I called iRobot and they confirmed that the sensor thinks that dark spots on the rug is a wall and it would not move forward

Love the ability to tell spot to clean when we are not home

sometimes spot gets lost once and a while but other than that can't come plan dose a fantastic job on cleaning the floors

So it can miss minor spots, but it does seem to get them the next time around.

First, is a robot, not a human, this doesn't happen all the time but expect it to miss one or two spots, but nothing that you can't clean in 2 seconds after

Welp they are not all the sameI did buy a cheap one worked great was for pet hair had 2 brushes like helicopters and the spot it sucked in

But spot pulls up even the smallest dust and dander

Yea, doesn't pick up every thing, misses some spots sometimes, still gets

My only concern is because of the crazy cleaning pattern this uses, I can see it going over the same spots over and over and over again while missing other spots entirely
