iRobot Roomba 980 Robot Vacuum with Wi-Fi Connectivity, Works with Alexa, Ideal for Pet Hair, Carpets, Hard Floors

    • House: single level, 2300+/- sq.ft.We have: 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 kidscan clean the whole house on one battery charge, takes a few hoursif floors are pretty dirty, needs to have the dust bin emptied mid-cleanother things I like
    • I have used it 3 days in a row and each time it fills the trap up with fibers, dog hair and dirt/dust.
    • I run it when I am home to make sure my dogs are not going to attack it (since it was not cheap).
    • My dog is terrorized by Darth though...
    • It’s very expensive, but worth it for cleaning up dog hair, my wife’s long hair, and general dirt
    • It is great!I have to run it every night - it sucks up that much dog hair, dirt and debris every night.
    • Really helps me keep up with the dog hair and dirt he brings in from outside.
    • I bought the extra brushes and filters right at the beginning, but still have not had to change them and its been almost 3 months and enough dog hair to make a nice wig for a hairless cat
    • I have had to adjust things to reduce the chances it gets stuck on things or sucks up a dog
    • I can't use the home app as well it likes to attack my dogs who attack it back
    • I have allergies, the dog has allergies and I come home and see the "vacuum look" in the carpet in the bedroom and am just amazed
    • I mean that in a good way as it consistently picked up (notice I use that in the past tense--which I'll get to in a minute) about twice as much dirt, dust & dog hair on a daily basis as my Ecovacs Deebot R95 does.
    • It is a bit noisy, and it took a week or so for my poor dog to adapt to it (he kept trying to herd it for the first week or so), but it is great, and well worth the price.
    • but occasionally we forget and the bin can hold two days of dog hair and dirt without issue.
    • We have hard wood floors and 2 dogs who track in more dirt and hair
    • Rug looks worse regarding dog hair after the vacuum is done and not better.
    • The dog is still fascinated.
    • it's bad, just to make the dogs feel better about the whole situation
    • Rug looks worse regarding dog hair after the vacuum is done and not better.
    • Out two dogs (Golden and Lab) keep the robot busy
    • But I love my dogs... even in the springtime, when they lose their winter coats by the handful
    • We have a dog with short white hair that sheds constantly... when she scratches orshakes and the light hits it just
    • It cleans quite well after my dog, and since my dog seems to love shedding this has helped a lot
    • Keeps the house free of dog hair, dirt, dust and whatever else is on the floor.
    • I love that when I bring all the dogs into the bedroom for the night I can use the app on my phone and have the vacuuming going while I'm asleep and the dogs aren't around it to bother it or get freaked out.
    • The dog completely ignores this Roomba while it's doing its thing - which is pretty impressive because he attacks pretty much any regular vacuum
    • It's important to pick up articles of clothing and fabric, dog toys and other objects that might get pulled into the vacuum
    • Works as described, we have 2 dogs and this gets all of the hair and dirt.
    • My Roomba can handle all the sand as well as all the dog hair my dogs can shed
    • We have a central vacuum system that has tremendous suction and it uses an AC powered beater bar pickup head but even after using the central vac the little Roomba finds dog hair and assorted smut that the central vac has missed
    • Even my dog loves him!
    • Once I calmed my dog down and placed her on the couch, out of Roomba's reach, I turned around to find Roomba scooting my dog's water dish across the room, splashing water all over the floor
    • I definitely recommend this as long as it's not for excessive dog hair on carpet.
    • Picks up all the dog hair and dust and has an edge clean function that goes around the edges of everything
    • True, Stan doesn't dust or clean countertops, but frankly, the thing that was bothering us the most (every day) was the dirt and hair from our two shedding dogs (golden retriever, border collie) who are in-and-out all the time.
    • Rug cleaning is ok, gets the dog hair but its not a deep clean or anything
    • Oh my son's dog was fascinated by it also.
    • Some people probably shouldn't buy this if:- their life hasn't been consumed with trying to clean up dog fur- their family values don't include spending time away from a broom, brush or vacuum handleThis purchase could feel like a luxury to some, but for those of us dreaming of adventure in the world, it's a dream come true.
    • I personally have a lot of hair and shed like a Yeti as well as having a dog that sheds like it's constantly spring.
    • far exceeds expectations - we have a dog that sheds and this gets the pet hair incredibly well
    • Because of the excessive long dog hair, all of these components have to be cleaned daily.
    • Not bad considering most of it is carpet, with dogs and children making its job more difficult
    • One is fringed, another which my dog favors to lay on, is Persian.
    • They both seem to pick up small dog kibble fine as long as it isn't against something
    • My dogs don't like it though, too bad
    • the dogs like to chase it and try to fetch their toys off of it.
    • It doesn't scare my dog, and it does a great job.
    • Does dog hair well
    • so I can get it going again on it's daily chores, the dog now sleeps through the process and the cat sometimes ignores it and sometimes plays with
    • A shedding dog is just problematic
    • Bin access for clearing the trash is very easy(d
