What was this great new robot

My golden retriever seems to lay toy traps out for the cleaning robots upstairs & downstairs but the Roomba 980 wouldn't take the bait.

This robot is brilliant

Have to really stack them thick or use the lighthouses to prevent robot from trying to suck them up.

Originally, I had the wall set too close to the home base and "Rosie" (my house cleaning robot) would error out before docking.

I like this little robot and it does a nice job cleaning our floors.

and I have been researching the best Robot vacuum for that type of carpet to work on the tile and carpet.

If a piece of furniture gradually drops closer to the floor, the Roomba might wedge itself in and get stuck (happened three times to me before I resolved the problem)- Price (one of pricier robot vacuums).- Bumps into tables and vases hard enough to slightly move them.

The old models seemed to get stuck constantly, which made it impossible to leave the robot alone to clean

This is an excellent robot, roomba 980 cleans in a specific pattern and knows what it is doing

I came home one day to this awesome little robot popping in and out from under the couches with determination

I did some research and once I realized that a good robot vac could do a better job vacuuming than I ever would, last for some time, and be relatively hassle-free, I came to the conclusion that this was a purchase that I wanted to truly invest in

We had to clean the dust bin and filter frequently as it quickly filled with dirt (much to my wife's glee), this robot really gets to places that we do not normally vacuum, mainly under furniture and beds where the dust bunnies lurk.

First and foremost is the inability of the thing to clean over dark area rugs, in my case, the rugs here had a 2" black border that the robot bounced off like it was a wall

I love the brand and product however this was a rebuilt robot and it never worked from the moment i took it out of the box

All my other robots would just go back and forth and while they did clean the floor you did not get straight lines like you would get if you were vacuuming yourself
