I have a three story house with ALL hard wood floors, four cats and a parrot

Did find out that we had the base on the carpet and although it worked ok and found it's way back sometimes it would loose contact with charger, I think it was the surface it was sitting on, moved it to the hallway on the hard wood floor and it is working perfect now
