I use JB weld to mend lots of things including gas tanks.

I once fixed a gas tank that was cracked on my old lawnmower

The lawnmower died after several years but the gas tank never leaked

Used it to seal the exterior of a gas tank for a small tractor.

Solid as when it was new

I then checked out the ABS tone ring and it appeared to be on the car very solidly, as solid as if it had never broken.

That when I cracked the block on my Model T, JB Weld fixed it

To join a 1/8" steel rod, to another 1/8" steel rod, forming a "T" (a common and easy welding job, almost impossible with just JB-Weld), cut two
