Once happy with the fabricated wood, apply a thin coat of J-B inside broken portion of the aluminum tube and coat the hard wood repair section with J-B.

J-B Weld 8265S weld compound-epoxy twin pack is useful in repairs that demand a stronger bond than conventional glues.

I don't recommend J-B Weld, because it doesn't bond anything.

This thing was so sharp that I could only sharpen it on a J-B weld knife sharpener I had to make

My contractor suggested the possibility of repairing leaks between radiator sections by using a vacuum pump to suck J_B Weld into the leaks.

But, this J-B epoxy works terrific.
