This device does not have a "Play" button, so you have to use the "PLAY" voice command or take your eyes off the road and find the play button on your phone's medial player, but "hands free" is the point of a "hands free" Bluetooth device

I had the volume turned up to max on both the bluetooth speakerphone as well as on my cell phone, and I couldn't hear the other person over the sound of my car going 45mph with the windows closed and the radio off.
