Jabra Tour Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone - Black

    • I'm holding back one star because the volume can be tough to hear if you have a car with a lot of road noise, but this is primarily for making calls and receiving calls so I have to say it's excellent for that
    • The device does pick up a bit of road noise and rough roads make it hard to hear, but all and all a good buy.
    • Wish it had a bit more power on the volume as it was hard to hear in the back seat with all the road noise
    • The speaker is also a bit quieter than expected, road noise makers it difficult to hear sometimes
    • Would also be better if it went a little louder for times when the road noise is louder.
    • I'm hard of hearing, but this is very clear, even with road noise.
    • Although his phone is fairly new (six months maybe?), the speaker on his Kyocera isn't all that great to begin with (picks up road noise) and has alot of echoing.
    • and I don't hear any road noise when she calls me from it.
    • But because of the road noise involved in a truck at highway speeds, while most of them let me hear the other person better than the phone speaker alone, the person on the other end often could not hear me
    • Plenty of volume to hear clearly over road noise.
    • As far as outgoing calls, those are clear and distinct as well (although, in the smaller Honda, more road noise does get picked up).
    • My wife constantly complained about road noise when talking with her on my other bluetooth speakers (I drive an '04 F150, and was alternating between using my Pioneer deck's built-in mic which is aweful, and a variety of earpieces)
    • This is my 3rd device of this type and finally have one that is loud and clear enough over the road noise.
    • The speaker is also a bit quieter than expected, road noise makers it difficult to hear sometimes
    • It appears that the devices are picking up the "road noise" and "locking" the inbound / outbound communication until one or the other device's mic
    • It didn't seem to mater if I was parked or driving with road noise.
    • The biggest challenge is that you can't get the volume very high, so if I'm driving fast or there's a lot of road noise, you can't hear the music very well
    • So, this inconsistency results in the person on the other end of the line hearing road noise and only every other word, if anything at all
    • Road noise made speaker hard to hear
    • I don't expect miracles given the challenge from road noise, but this is not the solution
    • I can barely hear it above the road noise in my vehicles.
    • I drive an older model truck for work, so the road noise is louder than newer vehicles
    • I can hear over road noise, the callers can hear me
    • I hear the other party completely clearly and apparently the worst that the other party gets is some "tin" quality in my voice that increases as road noise increases
    • Callers should be able to hear you clearly at highway speedsCallers can understand me but as with every Bluetooth speakerphone, they will likely know you are talking on a speakerphone or headset just because of road noise.
    • People on the other end of the conversation have no difficulty hearing me and often tell me to speak more conversationally instead of raising my voice to compensate for the road noise.
    • The microphone however is jittery, warbley, and picks up way too much road noise
    • due to road noise.
    • Road noise is AWFUL
    • This unit entirely blocks the mic regardless of the driver's background when the person on the line is speaking, easy way to cancel out the speaker, no feedback, echos, road noise, whatever
    • Has a bit strange accent, a "soft" r...

    • Like talking t o a passenger.
    • Not as good as I'd hoped
    • I do recommend as it has a great volume level, can be easy to use when in range of a tower (or says not supported), and the list of controls are somewhat hard to understand or don't work
    • Looking for some other brand that works as it should.
    • Like talking t o a passenger.
    • The Jabra's volume controls are easy to use, though.- I'm concerned it might be a thief-magnet, unless I risk tearing up my visor by taking it on and off each time I
