In Jak 2, there are vehicles and dark eco powers

They introduced weapons in the form of guns, which overall makes the sequels actually feel more like shooters a la Ratchet and Clank than platformers, and you now have a "Dark Jak" form which you can activate once your dark eco meter is filled

You may occasionally use Dark Jak, but this requires a full collection of dark eco, which can only be (slowly) obtained by killing enemies

Jak still has his dark eco powers but now he also has light eco powers, such as invisibility and slowing time

R&C looks amazing on the PS3 and I sometimes forget that it is actually an enhanced PS2 game I playing rather than a native PS3 game such as the (utterly amazing) Future games.

Because R&C is so beautiful and smooth, this shocked me.
