If you like your hearing and do not enjoy loud whiny sounds then buy a Pirastro Olive (Gold).

This is one of my favorite e strings, although lately it is erratically available.

The "E" string seemed to be very highly recommended as a good relyable violin "E" string with a low failure rate.

The last set of strings I got, the E was so bad I did everything I could to avoid playing it
