I recommend this unit

It's not a bad little unit, just think the Bose portable delivers a more rich sound than this unit.

Lack of iPhone compatibility aside, this unit is a well-built portable iPod speaker system.

The unit has always had issues with charging and playing from my iPod touch.

Much happier with this reasonably priced unit.

Unit appeared to be solid and I liked the remote unit

Bottom line, this unit may be great for some iPod models, but not necessarily all docking models (as said in the description).
