Looks like the motor is dead

The motor is busted and won't spin the platter

Also the motor can be finicky, especially when the auto-stop feature is on

The extra weight burdens the motor and the rotation speed isn't consistent

The motor is loud and the playback quality is terrible.

The motor seems a bit irregular and in some cases I can hear minor pitch shifts that are over very soon

The motor is kind of noisy but it doesn't interfere with the sound coming from the speakers, but since it has a ceramic cartridge (not upgrade-able) it lacks lower frequencies

Motor was dead on arrival.

It's not like I had heavy R&B playing or anything, I'm talking about the bass in Miles Davis or Coltrane.
