The install is easy, but my mistake was not making sure the screen was 100% lint free.

I can't say how well it will protect the phone since it has not been dropped yet (knock on wood).

one of the two protectors I got broke when my kid dropped the phone, not sure it was a light or a hard drop.

The shield did crack (but not the screen) after a bad drop on cement, but it did it's job!

Also I’m clumsy and have dropped my phone twice since purchased and installed, with not even a scratch.
