The only issue I have is that the connection from the microscope to the phone is very loose and occasionally loses connection from the wire wiggling.

Both of my android phones kept loosing connection with the device.

3-stars (and I think that is being quite generous because in reality the microscope is essentially unusable) is because of the bad USB connection - I have received two of these so far and both have exactly the same problem - the USB loses connection with even the slightest movement of the cord.

I believe it to be a faulty connection in the USB section due to the flip action of the connector, but I'll have to try taking it all apart to find the real culprit

Not sure if the faulty connection is in the flip-style USB connector, in the LED light control or just some random place in the cable.

Would suggest a better connection or a different adapter because it sometimes has trouble connecting if the adapter is loose.
