Metal construction and great knob response
-
They are constructed well in a metal casing and the knobs operate smooth
-
Don't be a gear snob, buy this, save money, turn knobs, enjoy it.
-
The different knobs create a nice variety of sounds and a good strong punch
-
but the real action is in the Voice and Gain knobs.
-
No noise unless the knobs are dimed out and even then it's mostly feedback, which doesn't bother me
-
The knobs turn well, the casing is heavy, It just felt good
-
Everything feels very solid (the knobs, the pots, the switch, and the casing itself)
-
The knobs are very sensitive and you can get tons of different tones with ease
-
The knobs work fine but do not seem to roll-off or not very sensitive / precise. .
-
The right knob on mine has a slight kink in it, but there's like nothing bad about even that
-
As much as I love my Keeley 2 knob, Dyna Comp, SP, Boss and Pigtronics for what they do, I must say that as long as it works this does the job as well, very musically and at on heck of a bargain price.
-
The knobs feel great, the jacks feel solid
-
The knobs are nicely responsive.
-
and is worth the $40, I will say though that the knobs were stiff and almost broken feeling, but worked
-
BTW, don't overlook the 4 knob
-
The pedal feels solidly built, knobs are nice, the bypass button has a nice tactile feel to it and a nice clicking sound
-
The drive and volume knobs provide good variation and work together well
-
I think it's possible to get the "Marshall" tone you want out of this thing, but you have to work the EQ knobs with each adjustment of the Voice knob.
-
The volume and tone knobs are also quite responsive
-
It is a sturdy feeling product, the knobs make the manipulation very easy
-
and is worth the $40, I will say though that the knobs were stiff and almost broken feeling, but worked
-
the Xotic , TC, and Ego, they all have a magical knob called the "Blend" control
-
I was ASTONISHED when I opened the parcel to find a hefty, weighty, very fetching appearance-wise, stompbox with SOLID knobs which have nice resistance to them, with no wobbliness or any kind of "cheapy" feel at all
-
Solidly built, great sturdy knobs and switch
-
It is a solid aluminum casing and the knobs and switch seem to be of good quality.
-
I love the big and easy to manipulate knobs
-
You can fiddle with the Voice and Drive knobs to clear it up, but that usually results in a drop in your overdrive or distorted sound
-
I took one star off because the knobs are incredibly flimsy and will lose place at the slightest disturbance
-
I bought this pedal thinking the "Pre" knob was a Preamp gain knob, like to add more overdrive, a different flavor than the distortion
-
The knobs feel sturdy enough and the button seems strong - by the way, it is true bypass which is nice
-
Feel the durable metal case, turn the solid knobs, flip the tiny toggle, stomp on the satisfying engage button and be blown away!
-
The bright yellow knobs are easy to see, even in a darkened room.
-
The knobs have a nice turn resistance and while I have read horror stories about the Ultimate Drive and other Joyos, the one I personally received I would have no issues taking to a gig
-
Gives nice sustain to both clean and dirty notes and when you bump up the volume knob on the pedal, you can use it as a clean boost
-
The knobs feel smooth and solid and the switch is a little soft, but still feels good
-
It has a pretty sturdy metal housing and the knobs and footswitch have a fairly solid feel to them.
-
The pedal feels solidly built, knobs are nice, the bypass button has a nice tactile feel to it and a nice clicking sound
-
One-knob operation like the 90's its modeled after,
-
The knobs feel great, the jacks feel solid
-
I turned the High knob down a bit to roll off some ice-pick sounds and it didn't kill the fun
-
I took one star off because the knobs are incredibly flimsy and will lose place at the slightest disturbance
-
Joyo is great the built quality is awesome, great metal case, good knobs, and overall built quality is a 10!
-
I'm really impressed by the way this pedal responds to touch and attack when using the magical voice control knob
-
knobs are very responsive and it offers a wide range of tones.
-
You get everything from barely there overdrive to serious overdrive approaching fuzz, all with a great bass tone, with lots of your original dynamics without requiring a clean blend, and a usable tone knob to tweak to your liking
-
The housing seems pretty sturdy, knobs too
-
The quality of the pedal is top notch- a strong metal case and toot-switch and durable knobs make for a giggable workhorse pedal
-
and WHAT A PEDAL.This thing sounds amazing...it is solid metal construction with a nice sturdy switch and knobs.
-
I bought this overdrive for my brother's H&K Tubemeister 18 which he just hated with a passion because it didn't have enough gain
-
Most "Marshall-in-a-box" stomps, imo, sound much tamer than a real Marshall, and they give you a "prettied-up", safer version of that sound, in order to appease the 15-year-old Children Of Boredom/Cannibal Corpse lame-o neo-hippies the scene is now infested with
-
It's not "built like a tank", but no flimsy plastic crap like the brand that starts with a B, which fishes in the same pond, price-wise
-
Not a strong sounding phase- a and b with behrenger vintage phase, I much prefer sound of behringer, but hate huge size on pedalboard.
