I still have to get a compressor, but if your on the fence about this and need or cld have a 2nd distortion/OD (this is a great smooth to aggressive quality distortion, '70s to Mod distortions) get this for the money its a home run period

What I found was a metal box construction, good quality PCB, read parts on the board, JRC4558s, good solder and tracings, blue boutique DPDT clicker switch, nice solid pot affixed firmly to PCB

The stories of poor build quality of Joyo pedals is backed up by what I found - I have an American Sound pedal and this also has a DC power socket that is not central with the hole in the casing (plug can't be inserted)

That is because even though they cost around 25 to 30 bucks the quality of sound and construction is sooooooo freaking good

But it can be used clean and give your electric a much richer quality

Despite the rugged metal casing, the power supply socket isn't mounted to it, just the board, leaving it weak, and showing off the cheap internal quality.

This Joyo pedal was a VERY different story!After finding settings that worked for me:On my clean channels, it boosts the volume of single notes and makes no difference to the volume when strumming, which was very appealing to me--especially because it retains the quality of the signal VERY well for clean channels.

I recently bought Fender's Champion 40 for a small travel amp as well as for its cheaper price.

works as it should.

Apparently it didn't blow me away so much as to get a replacement though.

I get this effect with both my Marshall tube amp as well as with a rack mounted preamp

At this extremely affordable price it's hard to pass by such a great petal billed as an OCD clone this pedal does not sound quite as good as the Fulltone petal but is extremely usable and excellent sounding t in my opinion
