I love my amp, but if I need to control my volume in any given situation, I am using this pedal.

Will it be a great sounding amp simulator that you can go directly into a PA

I have a nice tube amp, but I needed a way to plug in direct to a PA system

I would certainly use this as a direct to PA and as a compact backup for a failed amp scenario.

You will find digital modeling in most modern amps and multiprocessor pedals, but I haven't found any that captured the cleaner sounds of vintage Fender amps like the 5E3 tweed Deluxe and the blackface Deluxe Reverb very well (they seem to do a better job copying higher gain amp sounds.

It's an excellent amp sim, and an essential piece of my board.

I mostly play that combo over my nicer amps/pedals these days (Fender, Egnater, Laney, etc)

it sounds cold, sterile and lifeless.. like plugging into a $99 amp.it gets two stars because its cheap and Its better than nothing to be sure.. its a switchable gain stage with mild dirt, or a cheap flavor changer, but there is no way on earth you can close your eyes and think you are playing through a decent Fender tube amp while using this gtr

The amp sounds awful with just a overdrive or distortion pedal or compression pedal in front

I've been using it lately with the Line 6 Spider IV amps running a clean amp model and it really captures the sound and vibe of my Deluxe Reverb with the voice control set to 10:00 and my 5E3 tweed Deluxe with the voice control set to 1:00

Both the Joyo CS and BT pedals will do a great amp clean tone when ran into my recording interface.

With these I can get most of the sounds I needed, but what was escaping me was the really warm, natural, slightly breaking up tone you get with a good old tube amp.

What this is supposed to do is to emulate a clean to dirty Fender tube amp, so that you can run straight to a PC, stereo or PA system

These can go from a full blown cranked amp to warm clean amp that breaks up with an overdrive pedal in front of it.

This is exactly what I have been looking for, a good sounding amp simulator to record straight into my interface

I have it at the end of my signal chain to "warm up" my solid state amp

After playing with the amp and pedal settings, I learned if you are going to use this pedal with an amp, the only useable amp setting is "volume"

I get comments about my tone all the time, and most people can't believe I'm using a solid state amp with a chinese made tube modeling pedal

The amp sounds bigger, better, warmer

Just didn't sound good to the ear and was about to trash the amp

Don't know yet how it works as it did not come with a cord....

My only gripe would be that the footswith could feel of better quality however everything works as it should
