I've had a great deal of fun with this instrument already, and enjoy it enough that I may well get a second ... perhaps a fretless?

The instrument can be played acoustically, but doesn't put out a great deal of volume that way, though it could probably hold it's own beside a classical guitar or lute.

The only negative is that the pickup isn’t working evenly across all 4 strings - the low E is definitely quieter than the rest

First week using it at the JEMS My Hermon Family retreat, it was hard to dial in through my Hartke HA1200 KickBack12 the Low E was weak as was the G com,pared to the A & D strings
