The included optional mounting bolt is a poor grade steel - torsional shear failure of one of mine during installation.

If you do not install in this manner, all the lag bolts will not be in contact with the wood joist, and you risk failure under load.

Only 4 stars as the company shouldn't include any lag screws and should require the purchaser to buy the appropriate rated screws for mounting as the included screws for my application were too short and some were very poor quality as they broke.

This thing is as great as it is simple.

A little tricky to orient and run the rope but works as it should.
