my one negative comment is you need headphones with Bluetooth availability which was not clear upon purchase

The few negative comments I made will not take away from the positive reading experiences the new Oasis brings with its new enhancements.

The only negative comment I have is that the battery life suffers as compared to the Paperwhite and Voyage using the same conditions of usage, lighting levels, wifi on or off, etc.

My only negative comment is that the book was in "Russian".

USB-C...would have been nice not to have to carry around a legacy usb cable...8.

And I’d prefer USB-C, to match my other modern gadgets

All and all, the kindle is still a great e-reader.

I have been using e-ink readers since my original Sony PRS-300 (which still works flawlessly), and the Kindle Oasis is what I would expect given the almost 10 years of technological advancement

I am reading exactly the same time as always, wi'fi always off unless downloading a book, so the battery issue to really bugging ,e for such an expensive device.

This isnt a cheap E-book reader, but for me the difference is so huge that it really was worth the upgrade

The Kindle Oasis is everything my Paperwhite was and more... good old e-ink, backlit screen, decent software... plus bigger 7" size, wide bevel on one side, easy to hold, higher resolution, smoother backlight, better software... fabulous!

An excellent e-reader!I was attracted to this model initially for the larger storage capacity

If you have the cash then this is the best e-reader

I got this e-reader and absolutely happy

I haven't tested the bluetooth and extra functions as I seriously only need a basic e-reader with a nice e-ink screen that lets me read in the sun

Overall a good e-reader, but better battery life, lighter weight and materials that make it easier to grip would be good improvements.

If you can get over that it is an excellent e-reader, far superior to my paperwhite or original kindle.

n’t turn the oasis into airplane mode my battery will drained within a couple of hours.

n’t know how to improve battery life except adding extenernal battery banks to charge it

n’t had any problems doing that with previous non-waterproof Kindles, but I do love that this kindle offers added protection
