Kingdom Hearts II - PlayStation 2

    • Its amazing how well they get Johnny Depp's character, you would think it his him in the game, when he actually had nothing to do with the production
    • Older people who do want wish for that much of a challenge will also enjoy the great plots and chance to interact with their favorite Disney characters
    • all your favorite disney characters mixed with your favorite characters from final fantasy seriesInteresting story and good graphics for its time when it came out in
    • the drive system made the game so fun to play, the new character and how u got from world to world was silly and childlike
    • I wish there had more interaction with the dashing, sexy characters from Square.
    • Sure it's a good play with great characters and fun levels, but the repetitiousness (is that a word?
    • It sets up incredibly memorable characters, and I won't comment on the fate of any of them, but regardless whether they live or die, they all left an imprint in my mind
    • I adored Roxas' character, he was adorable and spirited and mysterious, but once he's gone, he
    • Moreover, characters are introduced and then ignored for most of the
    • Surprisingly, all the characters combine quite well, and the plot is surprisingly good for a game that is rather cameo-ridden
    • Designers gave them each enough personality to make them very enjoyable characters to watch and listen to, while making sure than neither of the three steals the limelight.
    • Kingdom Hearts is an amazing game with amazing characters.
    • It has great Final Fantasy characters such as Cloud,Leon,Auron, and Sephiroth, the only bummer I thought was they left Vincent Valentine out of the game
    • Meanwhile, all of the old favorite characters (Donald, Goofy, Kairi, Riku, etc) are there
    • it builds onto the storyline of how the characters have grown and matured, which goes hand in hand with their battle skills
    • I prefer storyline and character in a game
    • The graphics are intensely realistic, the characters are amazing, and the overall play value of the game is wonderful
    • I found the character development and stat tracking Byzantine in a way that disguises that there is not much to it (this is common in ps2 rpgs), making items, armor/weapon equipping and skills are all okay, but underdeveloped.
    • It's jam packed packed with likable characters, action, adventure, mystery, suspense, and humor
    • Familiar characters abound in the Disney and Square Enix collaboration
    • It picks up right after Chain of Memories ended, bringing back the cloaked figures, as well as introducing a new main character
    • Nothing EVER clips (solid objects or characters passing through one another), and I guess we have to chalk that up to all the years of playstation development experience that simply didn't exist when the first game was made
    • Awesome story, awesome characters
    • Love the characters and the story
    • The graphics are intense, the characters, story and battles are awesome
    • I think it's worth mentioning that the cinematics in this game were done much better than in the first, with almost all cinematic images done using more complex character models, instead of two-thirds of them like the first game.
    • In the end, I could have given Kingdom Hearts II a C+ for a brilliant marketing tactic, awkward character designs and some missed opportunities
    • Game play: there is talking (with, sadly, no dialogue choices), walking around, making it to good quality cut scenes and watching them, a scattering of mini-games, modest character management, and fighting fighting fighting fighting
    • Its got a great storyline and the characters are awesome
    • But he was also playing a part in the classic disney stories with memorable characters and wicked antagonists who actually had purposes.
    • BORING!-The characters in Organization 13 just sorta pop up and many don't have much of
    • You don't really need to, since a bad guy who needs to be defeated is a bad guy, and I unexpectedly won long before I thought my character was strong enough to do it
    • My only complaint with the visuals is how the characters aren't handled so well during some dialogue sequences (somewhat robotic movement) as well as how the game seems to switch between low-res and hi-res character models for dialogue (hi-res = CG style lip syncing and eye movement; low-res = textured face, minimal/no lip syncing, and minimal eye movement).
    • The game begins with the character Roxas who most players will not enjoy, with their expectations of playing Sora
    • But later on they trigger combined attacks, other character's special attacks, and your own special attacks, giving a gee-whiz ultimate move feel to battles that would instead by infinite X button presses (at certain times these attacks will become Dynasty Warrior's style uber-moves that annihilate swarms of Heartless among a sea of enemies {unbelievable as that sounds, it's even better than you can imagine}.While most of the battles of this game are easy, some of the boses are actually quite difficult due to massive damage caused by their moves and the difficulty in executing needed attacks (but the game never cheats or feels cheap)
    • Sora, Donald and Goofy are back, as well as old and new Disney characters and worlds
    • He is a great character, and the plot that you play as for him is great and keeps you on your seat as you are playing
    • Meanwhile, in the basement floors, another character has conflicts with darkness and ends up controlling it
    • And combining the ps2's graphics and the awesome character and world designs this game can please anyone
    • What I found in II instead were shallow plots, characters who were given meaningless personality traits for specific scenes then had them taken away for others, painful PAINFUL complete reusage of scenes and storylines from the movies they based the worlds on
    • The storyline is entertaining and you constantly run into your favorite characters
    • Each world you go to starts the same... with the main characters wondering what world they are in, when Goofy says "This must be Halloween Town
    • A wide range of skills are possible, some of which support your characters in battle, while others are used for attacking or performing combos.
    • In addition many of the old villains have returned to join with the new in a cast that must number over 100 characters, including a guest appearances of the likes of Yuna and the Gullwings.
    • The good isn't as bright as in the first game, the darkness isn't as dark, and the characters are less vibrant and distinct.
    • Kairi is much more of a character you care about this time around, all the Square characters are great, and the dialog spoken by all the Disney classics is great stuff full of humor and drama), great graphics, outstanding muic, a fantastic battle system that never gets old, and plenty of the Disney charm that has kept fans loyal all these years
    • Amazing characters
    • You control Roxas at the start of the game at Twilight Town and while you are progressing through the days you are getting a recap of what happened during KH1 and CoM. All the characters that are introduced along the way are pretty awesome, and we get a ton more Final Fantasy characters in this segment (Which is always cool, ya know?).Once we play as Sora we are revisiting a bunch of worlds we went to during the first game and a bunch of crazy stuff is happening with Organization 13
    • The characters are great, the art is top-notch, the voice acting is SUPERB, to say the least (some of the best voice acting I've ever heard, in fact)
    • I loved how the characters were re-introduced into the game and how the new characters were introduced as well.
    • But any way the creatures were spectacular, the voices were perfect and the story line, confusing as it was, was still stable and full of great characters
    • Great story line and characters
    • are new additions to old favorites -- new worlds, characters, summons, and spells -- as well as entirely new features such as forms (allowing Sora to temporarily meld with another party member).Personally, I found the most annoying part of the entire game to be the drastic make-over of Atlantica
    • The graphics are gorgeous and makes you feel like the characters are really alive (very rarely in this game to you see a 2-D mouth on a 3-D character).
    • Overall, a great game with amazing graphics, likable characters, and a nostalgic trip through the worlds of Disney.
    • Love to see old characters back and loved the black and white chapter, am very satisfied with this purchase.
    • The characters themselves are superbly done, with unbelievable character development and great voice acting.
    • Excellant story, awsome characters, and great gameplay will equal one happy rpg fan
    • Sure mario, sonic, and kirby are great but Final Fantasy and Disney are probably one of the best things to ever mix becuase what else could mix wonderfully like cute and lovable disney characters with more calm, serious characters from Final fantasy
    • It's an amazing twist of Disney and your favorite final fantasy characters
    • I am dissapointed that some of my favorite disney characters can only be summoned and so that you cannot go to their home world
    • Rich graphics, sweet gameplay, awesome story, and characters make this a favorite of any gamer out there
    • Most characters in this game are derived from FF and when you see the changes in the characters at first you may wonder what the heck happened
    • It features final fantasy characters as well as disney characters and it was a great
    • This is a shame in the boss battles in particular, as you will very often miss out on a lot of the character of each boss fight because you are primarily concerned with bashing one button as fast as you can, since that's simply the most effective way of winning, regardless of what a boss's signature moves or spectacular special attack is
    • The gummi ship missions are vastly improved as they are actually not boring this time
    • The Bad:-The battles are way to easy, I only died on two bosses.-Some of the voice acting isn't as good as in the first
