There is no question the graphics are like no other game yet
nice graphics, only too bad most of the beautiful background is just that-background, places where the character can't go.
You also have the option to switch to the first Kingdom Hearts action layout, (the list of actions in the corner of the screen)The graphics are much less choppy than the first Kingdom Hearts and the characters are fare more expressive with thier emotions
It was a great game and very enjoyable scenes as well as graphics
Now replayed, I have truly enjoyed the game the way I think, Disney and Squenix wanted us to.
- While alot of people claim this game is too easy, maybe its better that way
The prologue is a nice way to get back used to the control mechanisms of the game while giving you a nice back story.
This is a shame in the boss battles in particular, as you will very often miss out on a lot of the character of each boss fight because you are primarily concerned with bashing one button as fast as you can, since that's simply the most effective way of winning, regardless of what a boss's signature moves or spectacular special attack is
But any way the creatures were spectacular, the voices were perfect and the story line, confusing as it was, was still stable and full of great characters
This game isn't just amazing gor the fans of the series, but to anybody who is a fan of amazing gameplay, beautiful story telling, and very impressive graphics
as touching.-People wanted Kairi to have a keyblade, they did give her one, but she didn't kick much butt.-The gameplay is linear in that you cant free roam a world
I feel like the story got crazy complicated, BUT it is easy to follow and super addicting!!The gameplay is fun and easy, but not devoid of challenges
The story line was clearer and the gameplay is just way more fun in this one.
It has some better gameplay than the first and more levels too
Kingdom Hearts had a story like no other, and I loved it
I love the first Kingdom Hearts and this one was just as good.
If you like Kingdom Hearts you owe it to yourself to own this.
Since I preferred to be always moving in battle, I rarely used magic that wasn't on my shortcut list (one of which was Cure).Still, despite its few shortcomings, Kingdom Hearts II is, overall, a great game.
Though I haven't enjoyed too many of their games on the PS2, I did enjoy Kingdom Hearts 1
Kingdom Hearts is an amazing game with amazing characters.
I think it's worth mentioning that the cinematics in this game were done much better than in the first, with almost all cinematic images done using more complex character models, instead of two-thirds of them like the first game.
The characters themselves are superbly done, with unbelievable character development and great voice acting.
The good isn't as bright as in the first game, the darkness isn't as dark, and the characters are less vibrant and distinct.
I found the character development and stat tracking Byzantine in a way that disguises that there is not much to it (this is common in ps2 rpgs), making items, armor/weapon equipping and skills are all okay, but underdeveloped.
If you love Disney, Squeenix, RPGs, action, life itself, you will love this game.
The funny thing about the horrible Disney usage is that it is one big appeal for this game.
Well I have to say you may be hard pushed to work out the plot a lot of the time, but it seemed to involve Sora, Donald and Goofy fighting famous Disney bad guys and activating (or unlocking) a keyhole in each world they visit, while all the time being observed/hindered by a shadowy sect known as "Organisation XIII"
At one moment, you're fighting Disney villains and heartless out to rule the world, and then suddenly they're...helping you
Ignore the Disney freaks here- the only thing worse than a lame Disney sequel is a lame Disney video game!

The Bad:-The battles are way to easy, I only died on two bosses.-Some of the voice acting isn't as good as in the first

Other forms of triangle attacks give you quick access to devastating combination attacks that are available later in the game that can be used in conjunction with party members such as Donald, Goofy, Simba, Beast, and many other characters
Just be carefully when you use it because you can't use magic or items in Antiform and you take double the damage each time you get hit by a attack.
The worlds this time around are much more playable and MUCH more fun
You have to slog through a lot of worlds, and then a second time, but the end finally gets more pertinent story elements in
I feel that too much time went into the production of this game, and not enough time went into making it a fun game
While the sheer number of minigames available in this game is very impressive, there are 3-4 that will hang you up for hours, not because they are hard skill wise, but because 1 (and I mean just 1) mismashed button at the wrong time will make you have to start over from scratch
Even more entrancing than Kingdom Hearts, the devious Organization XIII has Sora torn between two different sides, slaying the heartless, or keeping them alive
The Organization serves as the big bad in KHII (similar to what the Disney Villains were seen as in the first game).
(I will let the game explain each of those characters, as well as the mysterious Organization XIII).
The good isn't as bright as in the first game, the darkness isn't as dark, and the characters are less vibrant and distinct.

The writing took a step backwards, even while the plot got more interesting, but the game play's been significantly improved, and most of the issues from the last game, such as the bad camera controls, were fixed

Soon after, you'll control Sora and set out on an adventure: this time trying to defeat the Heartless once more and finding out about the strange new creatures called "Nobodies" that are controlled by the

Battle commands are improved - I especially like the Reaction commands

-sigh.-Also, I think the characters and events in Hollow Bastion were very basic and surface-level.
--you want me to waste time performing in your ridiculous undersea musical extravaganza instead of saving innocent people and defeating evil
Older people who do want wish for that much of a challenge will also enjoy the great plots and chance to interact with their favorite Disney characters
I know several people who are fans of this game, but I did not enjoy it.

Some people are upset about these things and that there is more Final Fantasy stuff in it, but that shouldn't take anything away from such a masterpiece of a game.
The story line is far less straightforward, with the good guys being human and not superhuman (or duck and not superduck if you want to get technical) and the bad guys posing an unclear yet somehow far more significant threat, while still managing to have a sense of humor.

Also, like the nobodies, Hades doesn't seem like such a bad guy in this game.

Not only was the battle system fun, but the few added elements, such as the forms--alternate versions of Sora capable of different abilities--and limits--special techniques that require certain party members to perform--added a little strategy as well
Square took every shaky element from the first game (the sometimes repetitive battle system and the camera mainly) and took them to the next level.
I certainly recommend it, though make sure you know whether or not you'll like the gameplay elements.
For instance, in Agrabah you have to fight Jafar again and though the plot of that adventure contains some elements of ALADDIN 2
As with any good game, there are also some bad elements
