Kingdom Hearts II - PlayStation 2

    • All in all, I've clocked about 70 hours in this game, just levelling up, playing the mini-games (trying to meet the Jiminy's Journal objectives), and working my way up to that final battle, and I have not been bored one bit (except in Atlantica).I would venture to say that this sequel is much better than the original.
    • This is a shame in the boss battles in particular, as you will very often miss out on a lot of the character of each boss fight because you are primarily concerned with bashing one button as fast as you can, since that's simply the most effective way of winning, regardless of what a boss's signature moves or spectacular special attack is
    • I absolutely love the way the series has this aura of magic...specialness around it when watching the cutscenes
    • The best way to win is to find your own strategy
    • As for difficulty, some say it's way too easy even on hard mode, others struggle through it and keep getting hit
    • The prologue is a nice way to get back used to the control mechanisms of the game while giving you a nice back story.
    • If you have any sort of experience with action-adventure games, you should play KH2 on "proud mode" unless you just feel like button mashing your way between cutscenes.
    • Otherwise the story might not make sense to newcomers. if you don't like the way the first game runs, don't worry, they redid the way the controls handled in Kingdom Hearts 2
    • ALSO i cannot forget about the new Action command with the triangle button, a much faster way to talk to people ,open up chests, and counter measurement combos

    • Complex yes, but in a good way
    • You had different worlds you needed to get to and complete tasks on for different disney characters such as Aladdin, hercules, and jack skellington, i just found it to be a really creative way to incorporate disney into a game such as this
    • It sets the moods for the worlds and makes game-play, in a positive way, a complete snap
    • The interplay between the main characters is so good in this game that I actually realized I was growing to love Donald and Goofy in a way I hadn't felt since I was a kid (they are way more lovable in this game than the first)
    • I also loved the way the Synthesis and Gummi Ship sections of the game were altered
    • Awesome way to provide for years of fun
    • Now replayed, I have truly enjoyed the game the way I think, Disney and Squenix wanted us to.
    • - While alot of people claim this game is too easy, maybe its better that way
    • But any way the creatures were spectacular, the voices were perfect and the story line, confusing as it was, was still stable and full of great characters

    • The gummi ship missions are vastly improved as they are actually not boring this time
    • The Bad:-The battles are way to easy, I only died on two bosses.-Some of the voice acting isn't as good as in the first
    • The good isn't as bright as in the first game, the darkness isn't as dark, and the characters are less vibrant and distinct.
