Would not trust the lids for sprinkling at all since it would probably fail and dump your contents

I would only suggest during a grind stopping and shaking the contents you are grinding and redistributing to get a smoother grind without missing everything getting ground

It grinds NOTHING but spews the contents of teh cup everywhere clogging the mechanism

I thought the shaker lid was a really cool idea until I used it and dumped the entire contents of the pod all over the counter when the lid came off.
