My primary reason for choosing this grinder over others was that I could grind coffee and a variety of spices with one machine; I may be better off continuing to use separate grinders and trying to wipe out the chamber between spices.

I can't use it for nuts and spices either, for the same reason -- hard to twist, hard to seat, and hard to remove the cups.

It grinds very well!Three reasons for not five stars:1) it is noisy2

There are lids that are used to stop spices poofing up inside the grinder as well as for storage.

My wife stole this from me as soon as she saw it in the mail

so is the spice grinding as we use lots of spices in our cooking
