    • Of course, the quality will be limited to the resolution of your phone's camera (I'm using an iPhone XR) and they came out fantastic.
    • I expected better quality from Kodak
    • I’ve never used one of these before, but the quality seemed very good to me
    • My negatives are 15-20 years old and I am surprised to see the quality of the pic is pretty good
    • The quality of the picture output is not great, but acceptable for memories
    • Anybody dissatisfied with image quality probably is working with a poor quality original, or isn’t proficient with their camera phone
    • Having used scanners in the past, I can tell you that this method works much faster, and depending on you phone, very good quality results
    • I see a lot of people criticizing the quality or resolution of the scans.
    • I had better luck removing the phone support and using a macro lens and balancing my phone on old CD's to get a good quality picture
    • So if the picture quality is sub par then the quality of the negative is also bad
    • A Kodachrome slide I haven't seen in 50 some years and the quality on my iPhone is phenomenal
    • The scanner is a really neat device that allows you to scan negatives at a better quality than what you might get from store developed pictures
    • Hopefully they will improve the quality
    • Very easy with good quality.
    • Very poor quality of slide duplication, color and clarity
    • poor photo quality, turn on and off need to remove batteries
    • You get better quality images, if you print the pictures at a photo lab, and then scan the images using a regular document scanner.
    • I agree with other reviewers that have said it’s only worth about $10, not $50.•Good for if you just want to see what a negative is, but not good enough quality to print a photo
    • if that.<h1>What to buy instead</h1>If you're not a photographer but have a lot of film to digitize (say, old family photos), then any cheap film scanner on the market will provide adequate image quality for you, and will be much more convenient to use than this product
    • The scans are of poor quality and it is extremely difficult to line up the iPhone to even get a scan
    • There are likely much more expensive ways to do this that will provide greater quality, but for what I wanted - this is PERFECT.Added
    • negatives earlier but the scans directly from the negatives using the Kodak Mobile scanner were of better quality
    • It was difficult to use and the quality was completely unacceptable.
    • Quality is poor
    • I need a larger machine to accomplish the task for the the amount of negatives I need to print pictures of, and I need one that I can hook up to a printer, but it works great the view of the negative has a lot to due with your electronic device as to how clear the picture comes out, and wipe your negative with a chemical and lent free tissue or cloth to clear it of any dust, but you won't be disappointed, the quality is amazing for the price!!
    • The quality is fine for digital images; as discussed in other reviews, it probably isn't good enough for higher quality images
    • The quality of the copies are very good.
    • Poor quality picture from negatives
    • Granted, it reflects unconscionably poor quality control
    • If you’re not looking for the best quality this can work for you.
    • You’ll probably get better quality scans from this since the camera on most phones these days is going to be superior to a $200 scanner.
    • by the time I got negatives to scan, I realized how poor quality it was
    • With further investigating, I decided it probably wouldn’t be the best solution if I wanted to have good quality.
    • It matters little how good your camera works--it is still blurry and poor quality.
    • The quality of the Minolta scans are vastly superior to the Kodak ones, however I find that the Kodak scanner is extremely useful to quickly preview my negatives and decide which images are worth scanning
    • The quality is great and it is so easy to use
    • Keep in mind, these negatives are old and of poor quality to begin with.
    • it’s not as good quality versus dropping off the negatives yourself
    • I suspect the quality this will yield will only be as good as the film positive/negative and the camera in your smart phone
    • Very poor quality output on scanning color 35mm negatives with iPhone
    • The reels do NOT fit as securely on the light box as a real slide, but with a little steadiness and patience I've been able to get good quality images of them too
    • The quality was very poor.
    • I was surprised that something so simple and basic could do what my older Desktop Slide Scanner could not do as the software was outdated and quality horrible as well as taking a long time to calibrate and setup.
    • Great picture quality
    • I didn't see how I could reproduce a good quality photograph from this setup.
    • I now want to invest in a better quality scanner
    • Cons:•Does not produce good quality photos.•Way over priced
    • Quality was awful
    • Exactly as I expected, made of cardboard but pretty good quality.
    • A scanner from a good brand like Epson or PlusTek will give you incredible image quality and also holds value, so that when you're finished with it, you can sell it and get most of your money back
    • Phone placement and keeping it in place is the weak point, but the results for good-quality slides is amazing
    • Using my smart phone has made this easy to edit them and the quality is great
    • Poor quality
    • Quick, good quality scans that are easy to share
    • but for my phone, Samsung top of the line, the scan included the frame and was too bright - so the quality of colour was poor
    • The quick setup and ease of use, and the real quality of how it’s made is amazing.
    • It's not amazing and doesn't seem like modern digital quality, but it's not horrible by any means.
    • Very easy for anyone to use and the quality of the image is great.
    • The quality of the pictures is excellent
    • Parts fell apart due to poor glue quality or assembly
    • Great quality from iPhone XR photoshoot
    • The quality was terrible!
    • Very easy to use, inexpensive and surprisingly good quality.
    • poor quality too
    • It works as it says it does
    • Although the quality isn't as good as if you used a professional film negative scanner, it's good enough and great bang for your buck.
    • n’t usable
