The issue is this device does not keep the negatives flat and the tendency is for the negatives to curl and not want to push through.

One device didn’t work at all while the second device worked.

I do not recommend this device if you merely want to convert your slides.

Simple transfer via SD card makes scanning to the device easy and transfer to, but you will probably inadvertently lock the card - easily fixed by sliding it back toward the top of the card.

Great device for negatives and slides - the only problem I had was that the slides did not fit into the template - thin cardboard framed slides work well but the plastic framed slides do not fit through

In less than one week it fatally froze as I was scanning
