I’m pleased to recover my slides to view again.
-
Started scanning slides, worked fine for the first ~50 then started to freeze up after 1 or 2 slides.

Make sure your slides or film negatives are dust free
-
I actually plugged the scanner into a PC monitor via the HDMI output (cable included) which allowed me to ensure the slide was clean and positioned correctly before scanning

Inexpensive soft brushes with a squeeze air bulb work well to clean your slides
-
There is a manual loader, which I prefer- as there is no chance of jamming and potentially damaging the slide
-
I have accumulate a great many slides after almost 70 years but many of them have not been seen in a very long time.

At times, you could processas many as 10-20 slides or as few as 1-3 slides before the device would just freeze the screen.
