This is a great Clip On Contact

These new clips are just as accurate, have a wider opening range and are plastic

I have only used this clip on contact tuner mic a few times, but so far it works great.

The clip is very firm but also well padded so will not damage a fine instrument.

This clip on may be more appropriate for clipping on to the bell of a brass instrument (eg, trumpet, trombone, french horn, etc)

The cord is longer than the Matrix one, at about 5 feet, and the clip is better, opens wider and can hold on more surfaces

The clip is padded so it doesn't scratch the silver finish on my horn

it works quite well just clipped to the end of my bell
