Its very sensitive to background noise, turn the tv down, keep the kids quiet

The Korg runs off of ambient sound and gets interference from background noise while the Intellitouch is a clip on and uses vibration to 'hear' the note.

It is a bit tough to use when there is alot of background noise (ie: other people tunig their instruments), but that is not a major problem

you have to make sure your in silents to get this to work no background noise at all

At the recommendation of our violin instructor we also purchased a clip that we plug into the tuner and attach directly to the violin to tune it more accurately without disruption of background noise.

So whatever tuner you end up buying, I also suggeget getting the Korg CM-100L Clip On Contact Microphone that plugs into this, and many other, tuners because this tuner is very sensitive and will pick up almost any background noise, with the microphone, it filters out unwanted noise, so if you play in concerts or in noisy places, I suggest the mic

One of the pleasant surprises of this tuner is that I can use the microphone to tune basses down to the E string (the B is problematic) without plugging in

It is accurate and works as it should.

Anyway, I found it annoying as it is already hard to read, and the switching back and forth as the string is being struck is enough to make you dizzy.

I purchase this tuner for my daughter to tune her violin, it is a consisted tuner and accurate with picking the correct pitch, as well as you can use with other instruments as well
