Actually, I consider my own eyesight relatively sub par, and I can read this just fine in reasonable lighting
An illuminated dial would make the tuner easier to use in dim stage lighting.
Downsides, the display is kind of small and faint--there are three bright little lights that will show you if the note you are playing is spot on or sharp or flat, but that's not always enough.
The led lights will glow red when you're out of tune and green when you've got it right
The display is easy to read and understand and I definitely find the green light to be most helpful to show when you are in tune
And I'm not sure about other tuners and how they go, but for the price this is an excellent buy!
After using tuner several time, u figure it out and it works great.

This guitar tuner is not only reasonable, but it does the trick of tuning your guitars so fast and effectively that you can match nearly any recording online
The best part of this tuner is that I can set it on the coffee table, and it hears my guitar just fine

This product does work (and quite well), but the problem is that it ONLY SUPPORTS STANDARD TUNING!
and i have not had any problems and the battery it comes with has not died
Its very sensitive to background noise, turn the tv down, keep the kids quiet

you have to make sure your in silents to get this to work no background noise at all

Tuning your own instrument in a noisy environment is always a problem, and I think some of the expensive tuners are smarter about picking your instrument out of the mass of people tuning up.
but I would have expected the Korg to tune in a somewhat noisy environment like Guitar Toolkit.
Even in a noisy environment, the cable picks up the sound of the instrument w/o interference.
However, without the cable you might not get 100% accuracy, also if your outside or in a noisy environment, you won't be able to use this feature due to the product picking up noises from around you
