This product does work (and quite well), but the problem is that it ONLY SUPPORTS STANDARD TUNING!

This one goes through batteries just as fast and has intermittent problems with a flashing display (I've seen this problem on 3 separate tuners of the same model.

One of the pleasant surprises of this tuner is that I can use the microphone to tune basses down to the E string (the B is problematic) without plugging in

but it has trouble(slow) tuning the E
