This new Snark is compact and is also fast, stable and easy to read
my favorite snark, broad center band, no post to break off, easy to read - large screen.
I have multiple Snark SN-2 tuners plus a SN-8, but was tempted by this new version with no gooseneck
I used the Snark SN-8 previously and loved it, but it keeps disappearing
This Snark is compact, but because it lacks any ability to swivel the direction of the display, I found it impossible to clamp this model to the headstock of old-time banjos with relatively small peg heads and straight-through tuning pegs.
It does require a teeny bit of twisting a neck (either mine or the banjo's!) to see it clearly, but the size is more convenient if you want to carry it in your pocket and there's no neck to snap

When I clip the Son of Snark, Snark on to my uke, I place it on the end of where the four tuning thingys are, you know, on the end of where you twist the thingys to get the right tuning
You can leave it on your head stock while you play and tune between songs without taking that infamous "tuning break" that slows gigs down.
It says on the Snark box: "flawless tuning, and expect a miracle."
