Korg Monotron Delay Analog Ribbon Synthesizer

    • This is a pretty neat little synth
    • I said this was a "proof-of-concept," and it is - where the concept is, "A ridiculously affordable and fun analog synth that proves people want analog synthesizers, so Korg can go on to make tons more at other price points with different features
    • Totally powerful mono-synth with delay, with daisy chaining capability, with great range and very flexible intergration if you seek out the midi mod on line.
    • 're modern digital or modeling synth, and blow there minds
    • I really love this synth.
    • cool as any synth
    • Otherwise nice little synth and fun to tinker with and will experiment more.
    • The biggest issues was that this synth always produced a white noise or hissing sound, even when hook up to external audio, that was very annoying.
    • Great little synth for a home studio, or for travel
    • I think the best practical application is to pair it with another "cheap" Casio or other synth, a phone or tablet with a music app, or a drum machine
    • Great little synth
    • Got it in on time and so far I like what all it can do,it hasn't broken yet, looks a little smaller then you would think but overall, its a good little synth to make psychedelic/exotic noises.
    • This thing is fun!For the price of a full tank of gas (US) you get a legendary ANALOG filter and a decent synth.
    • Excellent little analog style synth for sound effects
    • Noisy little synth that's not a toy
    • I've tried to sample it with the "Audio Out" going straight into my audio interface but this synth is NOISY.
    • If you like to make music, you'll love this synth.
    • I've never played an analog synth before, and its pretty cool to get a very simplified taste of the roots of synthesizers
    • Korg did it again with this little portable pocket synth.
    • Nice little synth for a beginner, I would have to state that it does have quite a nasty low volume hiss that would have to be eqd out of your mix if you were looking to do something serious with it, but I am overall happy with it
    • Seriously though, if you can afford it, get it: it like a mini MS-20 synth and the filter/dealy effect get the job done on adding cool effects.
    • I pictured myself writing a snarky review in which I told the world, "My two-year-old loves this synth... but the keys are too small for his fingers!"
    • My only real gripe with this amazing little synth is that the "keys" are meaningless
    • I ran my Galaxy Tab running RD3 (808/303 soft synth & sequencer) through it and just tweaked the filters over a simple loop
